
Chen Taiji
Taiji Quan or Taiji is an internal martial art system which emphasizes the development and control of Qi within the body.
The Chen style of Taiji (Taiji of the Chen family) originated in the ancestral home of the Chen Family, the village of Chen Jia Gou in Henan Province, Northern China.
Chen Taiji is the root source of most modern day styles of Taiji known around the world.

Introductory Course Description
This course lays the foundation of the practice of Taiji.
It focuses on:
* relaxation of the body,
* posture alignment and center of gravity,
* moving with a calm and focused mind.
The introductory course is oriented to beginners and can also be enjoyed by anyone who has previously practiced Taiji.
The course teaches the following techniques:
* Fang song gong (relaxation exercises),
* Zhang Zhuang gong (upright meditation),
* Pu Fa (walking techniques),
* Chan si gong (reeling silk exercises),
* Hexie form (13 movement form).

Chen Taiji Instructor Lineage
Instructor Felipe Toro is a Taiji practitioner with over 10 years training with the Chen Bing Taiji Academy of Chile. Felipe trains under Master Alberto Catalan who is a disciple of Master Chen Bing representing the XX generation of the of the Chen Family and Director of Chen Bing Taiji Academy in China.
